Lamar County Multi- Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />Chapter Three <br />Squall Lines — Storms organize into a linear structure. These storms can also <br />produce hail and week tornadoes. <br />Bow Echoes — Often embedded in a squall line can produce tornado -like damage, <br />or occasionally produce a tornado. <br />Micro Bursts — These storms produce downburst that can do tornado equivalent <br />damages to homes, trees, and power lines with winds in excess of 100 mph. <br />Super Cells — These are the strongest and longest type of thunderstorms. These <br />storms are capable of producing winds in excess of 80mph, strong tornadoes, and <br />large hail. <br />2.
