Transportation System — is the network of roads, streets, or any other structure <br />which allows for vehicular movement. Lamar County's transporation system is made up of over <br />2,000 miles of paved, concrete, and dirt or all- weather roads. Critical Infrastructures — the array of assets and systems that, if disrupted, could <br />threaten security, economy, public health, and the safety of the residents they serve. <br />Since September 11, 2001 critical infrastructures have been a top priority in homeland <br />security planning.
