Encourage new homeowners and local <br />1 to 3 years <br />Inspector <br />realtors to have septic systems inspected before <br />purchasing a home. <br />Work with Lamar County Extension Agent to <br />Low <br />Expansive <br />LOW <br />educate the public on the importance for proper <br />(budget) <br />>5 years <br />County Staff <br />Soils <br />drainage and how that the non - uniform runoff from <br />roof may result in localized heave. <br />Develp printed materials, utilize existing materials, <br />Low <br />conduct workshops, and encourage residents to <br />(budget) <br />Terrorism <br />High <br />have family disaster plans that include emergency <br />1 to 3 years <br />EMC <br />evacuation procedures & shelter -in -place <br />emergency Guidelines <br />Creation and Continuation of the Lamar County <br />Low <br />Terrorism <br />High <br />CERT Program. Work with local businesses to <br />1 to 3 years <br />EMC & <br />encourage employee participation.
