Paris Public Library Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 15, 2017 <br />I. Call to Order. <br />The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:OOpm <br />by Fran Neeley. Board members in attendance were Fran Neeley, Carol James, Michelle <br />Cowling, Denise Kornegay, Connie Dodd, Rebecca Umphrey, Daisy Harvill and director <br />Priscilla McAnally. <br />II. Approval of Minutes. <br />The minutes of the January meeting were approved as corrected. <br />III. New Business: <br />Lincoln Center Local: Free Screenings program. <br />It will provide access to high- definition, pre - recorded performances streamed through the Free <br />Screenings portal website. Approved. <br />IV. Old Business: <br />None <br />V. Presentations <br />a. Budget Report. Expenditures are on target for this year with 55% of the materials <br />budget spent to date. <br />b. Statistical Report. Slight decreases again this month in Circulation (- 8.74 %) and Visits <br />( -15 %). Increases were in circulation for videos, eBooks, and downloadable audios. <br />VI. Friends of the Library: <br />No projects right now. They will possibly collaborate with Paris Community Theater on Pride <br />and Prejudice later this year. <br />VII. Director's Remarks: <br />The next Pajama Story Time will be held before Easter. <br />Due to Spring Break, the March meeting will be held one week later than usual — March 22. <br />Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 4:15pm. <br />Submitted by Denise Kornegay <br />
