Love Civic Center <br />Governing Board Minutes <br />Love Civic Center <br />Thursday, July 9, 2015 <br />Present: Bobby Walters, Kern Wright, Curtis Fendley, Keith Compton, Randy Nation, Stephen Gerrald, <br />Edwin Pickle, Allan Fain and Jeff Martin. <br />Staff: Ken Higdon, Becky Semple, Gina Crawford <br />Curtis Fendley called meeting to order at 4:05 pm. Quorum was not present, but still had discussions. <br />Jeff Martin gave the financials. <br />New terms were determined for board members. Chadlee Johnston, Bobby Walters, Curtis Fendley, Jon <br />Landers, one year, Jimmy Hopson, Robert High, Troy Scholl, Kenneth Webb, Alan Fain, two years. Linda <br />Kapp, Brian Figley, Pam Anglin, Steve Keywood and Casey Ressler, all have three year terms. <br />Curtis Fendley stated that we shall have a meeting every other month, second Thursday of the month. <br />Discussion on the roof. Randy Nation will get two more bids on roof, equivalent to each other. Then it <br />will go to Executive committee to be approved. <br />The pad will be discussed more at the September meeting. <br />The trolley barn is better, but still needs some work. A vent system may have to be installed. <br />Randy Nation stated that we need a new floor cleaner, $11,000, water fountains are in need of repair, <br />audio and visual system needs to be upgraded, ball room floor needs to be taken down to concrete, this <br />needs to be worked into a 3 to 5 year plan. There is $2500 work of AC repair that needs to be done. <br />Randy Nation will follow thru on this and have it repaired. <br />Ken Higdon spoke about adding an ATM machine at the Love Civic Center. He will get bids from local <br />banks. <br />The next meeting will be held on September 10, 2015. <br />With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 4:54 pm. <br />
