MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2017 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Paula Portugal, Chairman at <br />5: 30 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Anna Spencer, Jim Noble, Ray Ball, Matt <br />Birch, Paula Portugal and Tim Bullock. <br />B. The following members were absent: Dennis Ashby <br />C. Also present: John Godwin, City Manager; Carla Easton, City Engineer; Jerry <br />Richey, Airport Manager and Ashley Fendley, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (January 19, 2017) <br />Motion was made by Tim Bullock, seconded by Ray Ball to approve the minutes from <br />January 19, 2017 meeting. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Discussion regarding the airport hangar lease agreement. <br />John Godwin, City Manager reviewed the updates to the airport hangar lease agreement <br />with the Airport Advisory Board. The Airport Advisory Board was pleased with the <br />updates to the airport hangar lease agreement. A motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded <br />by Tim Bullock to send the airport hangar lease agreement to City Council for approval. <br />Motion carried 6 -0. <br />4. Discussion regarding the status of the new hangar construction project. <br />Carla Easton, City Engineer stated that contractors are on site. At this time they are mainly <br />working on earth work. Mrs. Easton further stated this is a 5 -month project which should <br />be finished in June. <br />5. Discussion regarding the 2017 Wings Over Paris Event. <br />John Godwin, City Manager stated that Ashley Fendley created a webpage for Wings <br />Over Paris. Mr. Godwin stated that we will be setting up a little different this year whereas <br />the vendors will be inside the fence. The side parking lot will be for the performers and <br />
