as presented by Commissioner Knox, seconded by Commissioner Barbee, motion <br />carried 5 -0 <br />b. 400 Church Street, Holy Cross Church, ADA compliant ramp for Parish Hall: Ben <br />Vaughn <br />Commissioner Dux stated there was some confusion as to where the handicap <br />accessible ramp is actually going to be placed since there were several doors in the <br />COA. Mr. Vaughn stated that he wanted to give examples of the doors that had rails <br />already approved. Mr. Vaughn further stated the ADA ramp would be located in Parish <br />Hall northeast entrance. Ramp will extend to the north end of the Paris Hall, and run <br />back west. Mr. Vaughn told the commission that the rock wall that was covering the air <br />conditioner was added in the 1980's. Commissioner Dux asked if the brick steps were <br />original. The entrance is not currently in use. The ADA ramp will be against the <br />building, and the green space will extend still be on the north side of the sidewalk, and <br />the sidewalk will be approximately 5 feet from the rock of the building. <br />Commissioner Dux noted that the horizontal structure is not Commissioner Steely <br />made the motion to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for the ADA ramp to the <br />northeastern entrance of Parish Hall, seconded by Commissioner Alarid. Motion <br />carried 5 - 0 <br />4. — CONSENT AGENDA - -- <br />Discussion and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to <br />determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the <br />National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic <br />property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />After discussion on each property Commissioner Steely made a motion to approve the <br />recommendation of the Code Enforcement department for items 4 A -E as the structures are no <br />longer able to be rehabilitate or have nor can they be designated on the National Register of <br />Historic Places, as a recorded Texas landmark, or as a property as designated by the City <br />Council. Seconded by Commissioner Alarid. Motion carried 5 - 0 <br />A.
