CIVIL RIGHTS <br /> <br />In addition to The Fair Housing Act (42 U.S,C. 360 I et seq. and implementing regulations at 24 C.F.R. part <br />100), specific federal requirements are set forth in 24 C.F.R. part 5 <br /> <br />II. LEAD-BASED PAINT <br /> <br />Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act, 42 U.S.C. ~ 4821 et seq. and 24 C.F.R. part 35 <br /> <br />III. ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS <br /> <br />The environmental effects of each activity carried out with HOME funds must be assessed in accordance <br />with the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C. ~ 4321 et. seq.) and the <br />related authorities listed in HUD's implementing regulations at 24 CFR parts 50 and 58. <br /> <br />IV.
