"Sec. 7 -18. Same - Amendments. The codes adopted by Section 7 -16 are hereby amended as set out in this section: The 2015 International Building Code, the 2015 International Existing Building Code and the 2015 International Residential Building Codes shall be amended as follows: Sections 113.4 Violation penalties, shall be amended to read as follows: A person who shall violate a provision of this Code or who fails to comply herewith or with any of the requirements hereof, or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair, or who has erected, constructed, altered or repaired a building or structure in violation of a detailed statement or plan submitted and approved hereunder, or of a permit or certificate issued hereunder, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the provisions of this Code shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. The 2015 International Building Code shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit A. which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. The 2015 International Existing Building Code shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit B. which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. The 2015 International Residential Code shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit C. which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. The 2014 National Electrical Code shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit D. which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. Section 4. That all provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, and all other provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 5. That the repeal of any ordinance or part of ordinances affected by the enactment of this ordinance shall not be construed as abandoning any action now pending under or by virtue of such ordinance or as discontinuing, abating, modifying, or altering any penalty accruing or to accrue, or as affecting any rights of the municipality under any section or provisions of any ordinance at the time of passage of this ordinance.
