Call meeting to order — Richard Manning, Chair <br />2. Citizens' Input <br />(Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than <br />two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits <br />the Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to <br />an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the <br />Paris EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.) <br />If necessary, the Paris Economic Development Corporation may convene into Executive <br />Session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code regarding any item on this agenda. <br />3. Welcome of New Board Members. <br />4. Election of Officers. <br />5. Discuss and possibly approve Minutes of the June 13, 2017, Monthly Meeting. <br />6. Discuss and possibly approve May 2017 Financials and June 2017 Financials. <br />7. Presentation by Delbert Horton, Chairman of SuRRMA. A return of SuRRMA highway <br />investment funds totaling $533,777.98. The PEDC will receive an additional $148,522.00 when <br />CDs mature. <br />8. Discuss and possibly approve BodyGuard Bumpers' request for an additional $25,000 <br />exceeding initial compliance of fifteen (15) employees to twenty (20) FTE employees -- Five <br />(5) FTE Employees multiplied by $5,000 per job. <br />9. Discuss the Paris City Council's action and the future of Paris Economic Development <br />Corporation. <br />10. Executive Director's Monthly Report. <br />11. Convene into Executive Session: <br />a) Section 551.087; Deliberation of Economic Development Negotiations to deliberate <br />Commercial and Financial Information and Economic Incentives relating to the <br />following: Commercial real- estate development. <br />1) Project Good Intentions <br />
