<br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-063 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris Police Department, in accordance with State and Federal <br />laws, currently provides criminal history record information and incident reports to the Housing <br />Authority of the City of Paris for use in applicant screening, lease enforcement, and eviction; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Paris has requested that the City of <br />Paris enter into an Interlocal Agreement for the provision of such records in order to provide <br />evidence to the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the cooperative agreement <br />between the Housing Authority and the Police Department, the result of which could mean higher <br />scores for the Housing Authority on its annual Public Housing Management Assessment Program <br />(PHMAP): and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of the Interlocal Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, <br />in all things, be approved, and the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, should be authorized to <br />execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />form of the Interlocal Agreement with the Housing Authority of the City of Paris for the provision <br />of criminal history record information and incident reports, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and <br />the same is hereby, approved; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be, and he <br />is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Interlocal <br />Agreement with the Housing Authority, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cler <br /> <br /> <br />
