-, INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT COUNTY OF LAMAR ~ ~ ~ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: STATE OF TEXAS THIS AGREEMENT is made this 14th day of June, 1999, by and between the CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, a municipal corporation, acting by and through its City Manager, Michael E. Malone, duly authorized, hereinafter referred to as CITY, and the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS, a public housing agency, acting by and through its Chairman, Curtis Fendley, duly authorized, hereinafter referred to as PHA. WITNE SSE TH: For and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter contained, the parties hereto agree as follows: 1. In accordance with the provisions of the Housing Opportunity Program Extension Act of 1996 (U.S.C. @ 1437d(q)(l)(A)), CITY agrees to furnish to PHA, upon request, criminal history record information (CHRI) regarding adult and juvenile applicants for public housing. 2. CITY agrees to access, upon request, the Interstate Identification Index (III) though the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for the purpose of determining whether an adult or juvenile tenant of or applicant for public housing has a criminal history record indexed. 3. CITY agrees to provide to PHA complete copies of all reports of incidents occurring at the George W. Wright Homes, Booker T. Washington Homes, Jackson Court, the complexes at Price Circle and 13th Street S.E., and the Westgate Apartments. 4. PHA agrees that any and all CHRI information and incident reports provided to it by CITY will be used exclusively by PHA and only for the purposes of applicant screening, lease enforcement, and eviction.
