A. One individual spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Diana Galanos, 325 17th Street S.W., Paris, Texas, spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Ms. Galanos stated she is requesting this variance to install a carport to cover her <br />truck to protect it from rough weather. Ms. Galanos stated that she believes it would <br />make the neighborhood look consistent. Ms. Galanos further stated she hopes the <br />commission will approve her variance request. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition of the petition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />The commission commended the applicant for coming to the city to get a permit and taking <br />the proper steps to get a permit. Motion was made by Jerry Haning, seconded by Louise <br />Hagood to approve the variance request. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />4.
