<br />RESOLUTION NO. qq -098 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of June, <br />1999, in Resolution No. 99-066, award the contract for the "Rehabilitation and Painting of West <br />.5 Million Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank on 5th Street NW," Project No. 83100, to N. G. <br />Painting, Inc.; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, lhe City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as projecl engineer, recommends the <br />amendment of the contract for said project to delete cathodic protection and to add lead paint <br />hazardous waste disposal, providing for a net increase of $14,800.00 in the contract price, for a <br />lolal contract price of $160,800.00; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, lhe form of Change Order No. One, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, <br />in alllhings, be approved, and the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, should be authorized 10 execute the <br />same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />form of Change Order No. One to the Contract for lhe "Rehabilitation and Painting of West .5 <br />Million Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank on 5th Street NW," Project No. 83100, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, to delete cathodic protection and to add lead paint hazardous waste disposal, <br />providing for a net increase of $14,800.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of <br />$16,800.00, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, be, and he is <br />hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, Change Order No. One, <br />under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Charles H.
