That Subsection (a) of Section 34-28 of the Code of Ordinances of the City <br />of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows: <br /> <br />"Sec. 34-28. Deposit to assure payment. <br /> <br />"(a) Each purchaser or consumer of city water shall, at the time of making <br />application for water service, make a deposit, with the division, in the following <br />about: <br /> <br />"( I) Residenlial consumers and business or commercial users, wherein <br />water is not a parI of their business operations, fifty dollars <br />($50.00). <br /> <br />"(2) Apartment houses, seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for the first two (2) <br />units and thirty dollars ($30.00) for each additional unit, not to <br />exceed a lotal of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). <br /> <br />"(3) Convenience store with snack bars and/or fuel pumps and <br />greenhouse/nursery, one hundred dollars (SIOO.OO), <br /> <br />"(4) Cafes, restaurants and other similar businesses, two hundred fifty <br />dollars ($250.00). <br /> <br />"(5) Car dealerships, service stations, and car washers, two hundred fifty <br />dollars ($250.00). <br /> <br />"(6) Laundries and waste haulers, five hundred dollars ($500.00). <br /> <br />"(7) Fire plug meters, seven hundred dollars ($700.00) or current cost <br />of meler. <br /> <br />"(8) Nursing home/retirement home, tourist courts, hOlels and motels, <br />seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). <br />
