(August 1, 2017) <br />3. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Isidro Leon Hernandez on <br />Lot 2 A -S 54 PT of 3, Block 1, of the Highland Park Addition, being located at 315 S.E. <br />19th Street. <br />A. Section 9-502 of the Zoning Ordinance which provides that "Where a building line <br />has been established by plat or ordinance and such line requires a greater or lesser <br />front yard setback than is prescribed by this ordinance for the district in which the <br />building line is located, the required front yard shall comply with the building line <br />so established by such ordinance or plat." <br />B. Section 9-501 of the Zoning Ordinance which provides that "A Single -Family <br />Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) requires a minimum 25 foot front yard setback line." <br />The applicant is asking for a 2 foot setback from the property line in order to construct a 35 <br />foot carport. The carport would be approximately 10 foot from the back of the curb. <br />4.
