Commissioner Steely made the motion to leave A and C <br />remained on the consent agenda, seconded by Commissioner Vandiver, motions carried 6 <br />—0 <br />Commissioner Vandiver asked if anything else could be done to save the property 623 6th <br />SE for its historical value to the community. The deconstruction policy was reviewed. <br />After much discussion a motion was made to send the property to Building and Standards <br />Commission by Commissioner Steely because the structure cannot be rehabilitated, and <br />the commission has not been able to secure a purchaser, or come up with a plan for <br />restoration. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Alarid, motion carried 6-0 <br />After reviewing the pictures of the shed that was up for consideration to demolish, <br />Commissioner Steely made a motion to add item B. back to the consent agenda. Seconded <br />by Commissioner Hider, Motion carried 6-0 <br />After some discussion on dilapidation of structures in the city of Paris and reviewing the <br />history of the property in question, a motion was made by Commissioner Vandiver add <br />item D. 1445 W Sherman back on the agenda for demolition, seconded by Commissioner <br />Emmite, Motion carried 4-0 Commissioner Steely and Commissioner Alarid abstained <br />from the vote. <br />7. HPO gave updated reports on the following; COA#2017-21, COA#2017-18, COA#2017-17 <br />Commissioner Alarid reported to the commission that the trim of the house located at 1025 <br />Church Street has been painted. <br />8. Commissioner Hider requested the discussion of alternative materials for new construction is <br />added to the September agenda, Commissioner Dux requested changes to the design standards <br />be reviewed. <br />9. A motion was made to adjourn at 6:04 p.m. motion carried 6-0 <br />
