KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, AUGUST 7, 2017 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by <br />John Lee, Secretary. <br />A. The following members were present: Chad Lindsey, John Lee, Rick Hundley, <br />Keith Flowers, James O'Bryan, Mihir "Mark" Pankaj, and Mustafa Hashmi <br />B. Also present were Carla Easton, City Engineer; Steve Clifford, Council Liaison; <br />Clyde Crews, Fire Marshal; Stephanie Harris, City Attorney, and Triniti Fraizer, <br />City Staff <br />Election of Officers: <br />A. Chairman — Motion was made by John Lee, seconded by Chad Lindsey to <br />nominate Keith Flowers as Chairman. Motion carried 7-0. <br />Keith Flowers called for nominations for Vice -Chairman <br />B. Vice -Chairman —Motion was made by Keith Flowers, seconded by Chad Lindsey <br />to nominate Mustafa Hashmi as Vice -Chairman. Motion carried 7-0. <br />C. Secretary — Motion was made by Chad Lindsey, seconded by Keith Flowers to <br />nominate John Lee as secretary. Motion carried 7-0. <br />Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (June 5, 2017) <br />Motion was made by Chad Lindsey, seconded by John Lee to approve minutes for the June <br />5, 2017 meeting. Motion carried 7-0. <br />4. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of the City of Paris for a <br />change in zoning from an Agriculture District (A) to a Single -Family Dwelling District No. <br />2 (SF -2), for The Hills Subdivision within the City Limits to the northwest side of FM 195. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. No one spoke in favor. <br />
