RESOLUTION NO. 2000-116 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. ONE TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND SKINNER CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR THE SITE AND FOUNDATIONS FOR FIRE STATIONS NO. TWO AND NO. FOUR; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 10th day of April, 2000, in Resolution No. 2000-046 , award the contract for the site and foundations for the "Fire Station No. Two, located at 4050 Pine Mill Road Project"and "Fire Station No. Four, located at 24th Street S.E. and Jefferson Road Project" to Skinner Concrete Construction Co.; and, WHEREAS, the City Engineer, acting as project engineer, recommends the amendment of the contract for said Fire Station No.2 and Fire Station No.4 projects to alter the anchor bolt setting to conform to a plan submitted by Harrison, Walker & Harper for the metal structure, providing for a net increase of $290.00 in the contract price; and, WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No. One, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the form of Change Order No. One to the contract between the City of Paris and Skinner Concrete for the site and foundations for the "Fire Station No. Two, located at 4050 Pine Mill Road Project"and "Fire Station No. Four, located at 24th Street S.E. and Jefferson Road Project," attached hereto as Exhibit A, to alter the anchor bolt setting to conform to a plan submitted by Harrison, Walker & Harper for the metal structure, providing for a net increase of $290.00 in the contract price, be, and the same is hereby, approved. Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Order No. One, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
