RESOLUTION NO. ')000- 1 "fl A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY SURPLUS AND REVISING THE LIST OF PERSONAL PROPERTY PREVIOUSLY DECLARED SURPLUS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of August, 2000, in Resolution No. 2000-109, declare as surplus certain personal property from the several departments of the City and approve the Auctioneer Service Agreement with Reggie McDowra Auctioneer Service to auction the same; and, WHEREAS, such list has been revised by adding personal property not previously included and by removing other certain personal property; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the items listed in Exhibit A, attached hereto, which items no longer serve a useful purpose for the City of Paris and its operation, be declared surplus, and that such Exhibit A attached hereto replace Exhibit A to the contract with Reggie McDowra Auctioneer Service as the list of surplus property to be auctioned on September 23, 2000, at the Fair Ground Coliseum Building in Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the personal property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be, and the same is hereby, declared to be surplus property of the City of Paris, and the same may be disposed of in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris Section 3. That said Exhibit A attached hereto shall replace Exhibit A to the Auctioneer Service Agreement with Reggie McDowra Auctioneer Service as the list of surplus property to be auctioned on September 23,2000, at the Fair Ground Coliseum Building in Paris, Texas. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
