RESOLUTION NO. 2000-024 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PAVILION AT LAKE CROOK PARK; AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SAID CONSTRUCTION; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Tenaska has committed to joint! y fund the construction of a pavilion at Lake Crook Park in the amount of $20,000.00, which funds will be given to the City after completion of the project; and, WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the Engineering Department for the"Lake Crook ParklTenaska Pavilion Project"; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that such plans and specifications be approved and that such projects should be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OJ<' THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the plans and specifications for the "Lake Crook ParklTenaska Pavilion Project" be, and the same are hereby, approved; and, Section 3. That such construction project be advertised for bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager ofthe City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 10th day of April, 2000, for the purpose of letting such bid.
