Discussion Regarding The Potential Restriction Qf Pal -king Recreational Vehicles <br />(Including Other "Special Vehicles ", As De odc Cif Ordinances, Ch. 22) cif',fined In The (, <br />Certain Dimensions Within Residential Areas, <br />Alan Efrussy, Planning Manager stated the history of the most recent discussion from the <br />last Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and City Council meeting. Recently, <br />Mayor Clifford inquired of staff as to how we can address the issue of larger RV*,s as <br />stored/parked in Paris residential neighborhoods. As a response to these inquiries, the <br />City staff suggested several draft amendments to Chapter 22: "Manufactured Homes and <br />Manufactured Home Parks- within the Paris Code of Ordinances, which includes <br />regulations for recreational and other special vehicles. These are enclosed as Exhibit A and <br />are shown in red font. To increase citizens' awareness of these issues, in conjunction with <br />obtaining citizen and city official input, staff recommended that this topic first be a, <br />discussion item before both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council. <br />For final approval, any ordinance changes would have to be heard before the commission <br />and council.
