Robert 'I"'alley stated property owner is present. Property is in disrepair. Old <br />lumber in yard. Roof covering beginning to buckle. Needs to be <br />repaired/replaced. Shed in back, hole in back of roof from tree falling onto it. <br />Unsecure. Owner would like to repair main structure, agrees back structure <br />needs to be derrioed. <br />Robert 'raiiey's recommendation: Repair main structure within 60 days or <br />back to BSC. Demo back structure. <br />Joyce Freeman, 2211 E Polk. House was rented when tagged. Tenant went to <br />Dallas for farrifly inedical, and could not reach him. Went over and cleaned up <br />house and yard as best could do. <br />Commission questions. <br />Q — 1--fas Mr. Talley explained his recommendation on this property'? <br />A — Yes. House is level, roof does not leak, could put metal roof over it. I.,ast <br />renter pulled roof off carport. <br />Q What can BSC do to help you? <br />A Would like to see someone take care of vandals. <br />Q This commission is concerned with order on this property to repair within 60 <br />days. Will you be able to do that? <br />A — Going to try. <br />Q — No problem with dernoing structure in back?' Are you going to do it or have <br />city do it? <br />A --- No, not going to have city do it, <br />Q Is intention to get house in rentable condition? <br />A Rented now, Tenant has been evicted. <br />Q Is carport roof included in repair'? <br />A Yes. <br />Motion was made by Mike Folmar, seconded by Ken Kohis to accept <br />Robert's recommendation. Roof covering beginning to peel, sag, buckle. <br />Unsecure. Trash and rubbish inside. Large portion of floor inissing in living <br />roorn. Indication inside roof is leakirig. Shed in back had tree fall onto it, <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, <br />or the city has a right to do so. <br />Commission questions. <br />Q — No communication with owner? <br />
