PARIS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />MONTHLY MEETING <br />Paris City Council Chambers <br />107 East Kaufman St. <br />Paris, Texas 75460 <br />Friday, September 22, 2017 <br />9:30 O'CLOCK A.M. <br />Board Members Present: <br />Richard Manning, Chairman <br />Marion Hamill, Vice -Chairman <br />Tim Hernandez, Secretary/Treasurer <br />Ray Banks <br />Derrick Hughes <br />Ex -Officio Members Present: <br />John Godwin, City of Paris <br />Ken Higdon, Lamar County Chamber <br />Legal Counsel: <br />Stephanie Harris, City Attorney <br />Call to Order. <br />MINUTES <br />Staff Present: <br />Michael Paris, Executive Director <br />Chris Stout, Economic Development Associate <br />Paula Brownfield, Administrative Assistant <br />Guest(s) Present: <br />Sally Boswell, The Paris News <br />Deanna Manning <br />Brett Dunson, Campbell's Soup <br />Shelia Coursey, Campbell's Soup <br />City Council Liaison: <br />Paula Portugal <br />Mr. Manning called the meeting of the Paris Economic Development Corporation to order at 9:30 a.m. <br />on September 22, 2017. <br />Citizens' Input <br />Mr. Manning invited those present to speak during Citizens' Input. No one came forward and the <br />Citizens' Input was closed. <br />Discuss and possibly approve Minutes of the August 18, 2017, Monthly Meeting. <br />Mr. Banks was ready to make a motion on the minutes when Ms. Brownfield stated that there was one <br />thing that needed to be changed. Under Adjourn it says the time was 1:40 p.m. when it was actually <br />12:40 p.m. Mr. Banks made a motion to approve the minutes with the correction. Mr. Hughes <br />seconded the motion. Vote was 5 -ayes to 0 -nays. <br />Discuss and possibly approve August 2017 Financials, <br />Mr. Hernandez pointed to the Cash Out report and stated that everything on the report was normal. Mr. <br />Paris asked if the Cirro Energy charge was for two months since it was $806. Ms. Brownfield said it <br />was only one month and it was for the whole Depot. Mr. Paris told the Board that we could address <br />
