RESOLUTION NO. 2000-031 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2000-013, SUBSTITUTING THE DESIGNATED JUDGES FOR EARLY VOTING IN THE MAY 6, 2000, GENERAL ELECTION; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has previously adopted Resolution No. 2000-013 ordering the regular municipal election for the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, to be held on the first Saturday in May, 2000, the same being the 6th day of May, 2000, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 7:00 o'clock p.m.; and, WHEREAS, as part of the aforesaid resolution, the City Council designated election judges for early voting and the city desires to designate new judges to perform such functions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Section 5 of Resolution No. 2000-013, which ordered the regular municipal election for the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, to be held on the first Saturday in May, 2000, the same being May 6, 2000, is hereby in all things amended to read as follows: "Section 5. That the poling place and election officials for early voting of said election shall be as follows: EARLY VOTING: Polling Place: City Hall Annex West 150 1st Street S.E. EARLY BALLOT BOARD: Officials: Edith Bills, Presiding Judge Frankie Dangerfield, Alternate Presiding Judge" Section 3. That all other terms and provisions of prior Resolution No. 2000-013 not amended by this resolution shall remain in full force and effect, unless subsequently amended hereafter or revised by other action of City CounciL
