MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, JULY 20, 2017 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Ashley Fendley, City Staff at <br />5: 30 p. m. <br />A. The following members were present: Anna Spencer, Ray Ball, Daniel Roach, <br />Matt Birch, Tim Marks, Jim Noble and Tim Bullock. <br />B. Also present: Paula Portugal, City Council; Lance Nicholson, Engineering <br />Technician and Ashley Fendley, City Staff. <br />2. Election of Officers: <br />A. Chairman — Motion was made by Anna Spencer, seconded by Tim Bullock to <br />nominate Tim Marks as Chairman. Motion carried 7-0. <br />Tim Marks called for nomination for Vice -Chairman. <br />Vice -Chairman — Motion was made by Jim Noble, seconded by Tim Marks to <br />nominate Ray Ball as Vice -Chairman. Motion carried 7-0. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (May 18, 2017) <br />Motion was made by Tim Marks, seconded by Jim Noble to approve the minutes from <br />May 18, 2017 meeting. Motion carried 7-0. <br />4. Discussion regarding the status of the new hangar construction project. <br />Lance Nicholson, Engineer Technician stated that the contractors are working as quickly <br />as they can but have had 63 rainout days in the past few months. Mr. Nicholson stated that <br />the contractor will be installing rebar and cables on site either July 24th or 25th. They hope <br />to pour the concrete foundation early in the morning on July 26t . Mr. Nicholson further <br />stated they are planning to go vertical on August 7th and hope to finish in September. <br />5. Discussion regarding repaving Collier Drive. <br />Ashley Fendley, City Staff stated that Carla Easton, City Engineer is working on this <br />
