MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COX FIELD AIRPORT <br />6780 COLLIER DRIVE <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2017 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Tim Marks, Chairman at 5:30 <br />p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: Daniel Roach, Matt Birch, Tim Marks, and <br />Tim Bullock. <br />B. The following members were absent: Ray Ball, Jim Noble and Anna Spencer <br />C. Also present: John Godwin, City Manager; Carla Easton, City Engineer; Paula <br />Portugal, City Council; and Ashley Stumpf, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (July 20, 2017) <br />Motion was made by Tim Bullock, seconded by Daniel Roach to approve the minutes <br />from July 20, 2017 meeting. Motion carried 4-0. <br />3. Discussion regarding delinquent hangar rentals. <br />Ashley Stumpf, City Staff stated that City Attorney sent letters to Mr. Smyers and Mr. <br />Hiller on August 15, 2017. The letters stated "This letter is your Final Notice that, if the <br />payment is not received within 30 days from the date of the letter, the City would be <br />forced to consider all legal options for collecting the debt, up to and including termination <br />of the hangar lease". Mrs. Stumpf stated that their payments have not been received as of <br />Friday, September 15, 2017. Mrs. Stumpf further stated she would find out the next step <br />from the City Attorney. <br />4. Discussion regarding repaving Collier Drive. <br />Carla Easton, City Engineer stated she is speaking with TxDOT to fix the damage they <br />have created into the construction entrance. John Godwin, City Manager stated the Public <br />Works Department is planning on doing a chip seal in the spring for Collier Drive. <br />S. Discussion and action regarding rental fees for the new hangar. <br />John Godwin, City Manager gave the board a hand out for the average hangar rental fees <br />
