MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING <br />TUESDAY, MAY 23, 1995 <br />COX FIELD TERMINAL <br />6:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The scheduled meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by chairman Vic Abeles. The following <br />members were present: <br />J.W. Ashmore Tony Daigle <br />Vic Abeles J.B. Ritchey <br />Mark Buster Vic Ressler, Jr. <br />Pamela Campbell <br />Absent: Mark Buster <br />Also in attendance were Dick Boots, Jim Collier, Eric Clifford and Herb Ordelheide. <br />2. The minutes of the November 22, 1994 meeting were presented. A motion to accept the minutes as .vntten was <br />made by J.B. Ritchey, seconded by Tony Daigle and passed by unanimous vote. <br />3. New board member, Pamela Campbell was welcomed to the Airport Advisory Board by Vic Abeles, board <br />chairman. <br />4. Dick Boots reported on the recent Airport Operators Conference in Austin on April 26 -28. Paris has been most <br />fortunate to receive the funding assistance we have had during the past five (5) years. The TXDOT Division of <br />Aviation recognizes the City's continuing efforts to upgrade and properly maintain the airport facility. <br />5. Capital Outlay projects completed since 1990. A brief overview of projects completed since 1990 was <br />presented along with a cost breakdown showing the amount of Local, State and Federal funds that were <br />expended. <br />6. Dick Boots presented to the board a list of airport improvement projects that are proposed for the next three <br />years. The approval should be given by TXDOT on June 12 for the following projects: overlay hanger access <br />taxiway, reconstruct hanger access taxiway and construct a terminal building. <br />7. Dick Boots reported to the board that two new private hangers have been constructed during the past year. <br />These are the only hangers constructed during this time period. All hangers at the airport are rented at this <br />time. <br />8. New Business: It was suggested that pilots flying out of Cox Field be made aware of the procedure for alerting <br />the airport fire truck for emergencies both during normal business hours as well as after normal working hours. <br />9.
