2 <br />K <br />MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING <br />MONDAY, JANUARY 22, 1996 <br />COX FIELD TERMINAL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The scheduled meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Victor Abeles <br />J.W. Ashmore <br />Mark Buster <br />Tony Daigle <br />Members Absent: <br />None <br />Also in attendance: <br />Pamela Campbell <br />Vic Ressler, Jr. <br />J.B. Ritchey <br />Jim Collier - Airport Manager <br />Dick Boots - City Facilities Director <br />Eric Clifford - City Mayor <br />T.K. Haynes - City Attorney <br />The minutes of the November 21, 1995 meeting were approved as <br />written by unanimous vote of the board. <br />Consideration of and recommendations concerning the lease policy at <br />Cox Field: <br />City Attorney, T.K. Haynes, reviewed the history of hanger construction <br />and leases at Cox Field over the past 20 years or so. The status of all <br />current leases was reviewed and discussed. Mr. Haynes states that he <br />wants to update the lease terms to insure fairness to all involved and <br />protect the interests of the City of Paris. The Board discussed in great <br />detail the options that might be adopted. Mr. Haynes requested the <br />Advisory Board study the lease options and make a recommendation to <br />the City Council at the March meeting. <br />Vic Ressler moved that the Advisory Board recommend a minimum lease <br />term of 25 +10 years and a maximum lease term of 45 + 15 years. <br />Included in this recommendation was that any person desiring to build <br />must bring their request before the Cox Field Advisory Board for review <br />
