5. Public Hearing for citizen input concerning the exterior design of the <br />proposed airport terminal. <br />Chairman Abeles called the Public Hearing to order. The purpose of the <br />hearing was to receive citizen input concerning the exterior design of the <br />proposed terminal building. There was no one in attendance to speak at <br />the public hearing. The public hearing was closed. <br />6. Presentation by terminal architect concerning exterior design of proposed <br />terminal. <br />Mr. David Denny, one of the consultants for the airport project asked for <br />Board comments concerning the exterior design of the terminal. Two <br />recommendations were made by the Advisory Board asking City Staff to <br />acquire photographs of other terminals the size of Paris for their future <br />review and to make a survey of airports the size of Paris concerning <br />whether they operated a concession area or operated a restaurant at the <br />Airport Terminal. <br />7. New Business. Mr. Ritchey requested City Staff to check into the cost of <br />having a stress test done on Runway 17/35 that would tell us exactly what <br />size airplanes are able to operate on the primary runway. <br />No additional business was brought before the Board. <br />8.
