MINUTES
AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 1981
7:15 O'CLOCK P.M.
CITY HALL
PARIS, TEXAS
The Airport Advisory Board met in regular session at City Hall, Tuesday,
September 29, 1981 at 7:15 P.M. with the following board members present:
1. Rick Rex - Chairman
2. JoAnn Ondrovik
3. James Moseley
4. Louise Hagood
Others present were Jim Collier, Airport Manager and Don Whitaker.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Old Business:
1. Removal of the old T- Hangars.
The Hangars have not been vacated but the matter is now in the hands of
the Airport Manager and the City Management to take whatever action they
wish to take. It was noted that the FAA has requested the removal of the
hangars since they are too close to the field's operation area and thus
do not conform to regulations.
Informal discussion took place on several items: The bid of Rio Airlines for
service into Paris at a lower subsidy rate than Metro Airlines; the nuisance
requirements of the City for those persons desiring agricultural permits;
and the possibility of using Master Card /Visa for the purchase of gasoline
at the Airport.
The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, November 24. The agenda will contain
as an item of old business a review of the status of the three (3) old T -Han-
gars. New Business item will be the annual review of permits.
Respectfully submitted,
Louise Hagood
Secretary
