MINUTES AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 1981 7:15 O'CLOCK P.M. CITY HALL PARIS, TEXAS The Airport Advisory Board met in special session at City Hall, Wednesday, December 16, 1981 at 7:15 p.m. with the following board members present: 1. Richard Rex - Chairman 2. James Moseley 3. Allie O'Brien 4. Louise Hagood Others present were Jim Collier, Airport Manager, T.K. Haynes, City Attorney, Don Howell and Mrs. Howell, Jimmy Tapley, Dan Halley and Jim 14renn. The board discussed some items regarding definitions from the Airport Operations Manual clarified by City Attorney Haynes. They then considered the item of old business. Annual review of permits. regulations and ordinances. Requests for renewal of permits were presented by Airport Manager Collier and checked by Mr. Haynes. The Airport Advisory Board recommends to the City Council that the following permits be renewed: 1. Paris Flight Center - Flight Training and Leasing. Application for renewal in order, motion for recommendation by Hagood, seconded by O'Brien. Vote 4 to 0. 2. James Howell - Agricultural Operations Application lacks description of activities. Recommend conditional approval subject to attacking brief narrative of scope of work as required in paragraph 6. 3. Don Howell - Agriculture Operations Application for renewal in order Motion Hagood, second O'Brien. Vote 4 to 0. 4. Randall Stevens - Agriculture Operations. In anticipation of a permit from the City Manager, a renewal is recommended. Application in order. Motion Hagood, second Moseley. Vote 4 to 0. 5. Tapley Flying Service, Inc., Idabel, Okla. - Agriculture Operations. In anticipation of a permit from the City Manager, a renewal is recommended. Application in order. Motion O'Brien, second, Hagood. Vote 4 to 0. 6. Metro Airlines - Air carrier service subject to furnishing a state- ment of their scope of service in accordance with the items of their permit application, a renewal is recommended. Motion Moseley, second Hagood, vote 3 to 1. 7. Jim Wrenn - Pilot Training - Engine Maintenance - Agricultural Operations. Subject to a brief narrative of the scope of activities, renewal is recommended. Narrative is required in paragraph 6.
