MINUTES AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1982 CITY HALL - COUNCIL ROOM 7:15 P.M. PARIS, TEXAS The Airport Advisory Board met in regular session at City Hall, Tuesday, September 28, 1982 with the following Board members present: 1. Richard Rex - Chairman 2. JoAnn Onrdovik 3. Allie O'Brien 4. James Moseley 5. FAA Representatives: Peggy Whiteman Chuck Hale Also present were Airport Manager Jim Collier and an audience of approximately 15 people. The minutes of the July 27, 1982 meeting were approved as mailed. OLD BUSINESS: 1. None NEW BUSINESS: 1. Planning Conference with FAA Staff: A joint planning meeting was held with the Ft. Worth FAA representatives to establish priorities for the top ten needs to be met in the next 5 years. These are as follows: a. Fuel storage and access ramp. b. Fire truck storage and pilot's lounge and administrative area. c. Overlay and taxiway lighting and extension of taxiway "A ". d. Paving ramp and aircraft storage - -- expand existing aprons west. e. N/S runway overlay and associated drainage improvements. f. Total airport drainage improvements. g. Overlay of runway 1331. h. Overlay of taxiway "B ". The Airport Improvement Act (API) effective October 1, 1982 is a Title V, seven year program which will provide funds for airports throughout the country. 1982 emplanements and air taxi operations will determine eligibility for a special funding category in addition to the general fund. The Board will re- view and revise recommendations periodically. 2. 60 day review of new permits: Austin Ellis' permit was reviewed with no action taken. His permit was reconfirmed by the Board. 3. Review lease of Jimmy Wrenn: Wrenn's lease was reviewed; Terry K. Haynes was consulted. The Board determined that Wrenn's leasing of space is in con- flict with his lease with the City. Mr. Wrenn's lease with the City is for the purpose of providing maintenance services at the airport, not for releasing as hangar space.
