MINUTES AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 1982 CITY HALL - COUNCIL ROOM PARIS, TEXAS The Airport Advisory Board met in session at City Hall, Wednesday, December 8, 1982 with the following members present: 1. Richard Rex - Chairman 2. James Moseley 3. Allie O'Brien 4. Louise Hagood Also present were Airport Manager Jim Collier and an audience of approximately 11 people. The minutes of September 28, 1982 meeting were approved as mailed. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Review UNICOM frequency change: The Airport Manager reported on the UNICOM frequency change. While no official notification has been received, an official with the FCC in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania said it is felt there will be no difficulty in making the change to 123.00. Further efforts to speed up the official change will be taken by the manager. NEW BUSINESS: 1. 60 day review of new permits: There are no new permit requests. 2. Annual review of all permits: The Board considered the applications for renewal of annual permits from the following: a. Randall Stevens - Waiting for a change in insurance policies. Vote 4 -0. b. Austin Ellis - Vote 4 - 0. c. Paris Flight Center - Vote 4 - 0. d. Roger Boxwell - Vote 3 -,l. e. Jim Talpey - Vote 4 - 0. The Board recommends to the City Council that permits be renewed to the above individuals. Those with current permits have not to date requested renewal - James Howell, Jimmy Wrenn and Metro Airlines. 3. Review of hangar rental rates: The Chairman reviewed the rental rates for those present and the board discussed increases. It is recommended to the City Council that the rental rates for hangar space at the airport for the next two years be set at $75.00 per month for closed hangars and $45.00 per month for open hangars. This proposal would exclude the 6 old hangars (5 open and 1 closed) whose rates were set at the September meeting.
