MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 25, 1985 <br />6:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />COX FIELD TERMINAL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The minutes of the Airport Advisory Board held Tuesday, <br />June 25, 1985, at 6:00 P.M. were read and approved. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Bill Boothe. <br />Present were Mrs. Greta Grebb, Mr. Joe Burress, Mr. Eric <br />Clifford, Mr. Jim Collier, Airport Manager and Mr. Roger <br />Sadler, Fixed Base Operator. Absent was Mr. J.W. Ashmore. <br />Item #2, being a report on the Airport Promotion Plan, Item <br />#3, being a report by Mr. Clifford of new access to Cox <br />Field, and Item #4, being a report by Mr. Sadler as to the <br />availability of a new hanger, were tabled until the next <br />meeting. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />The Board discussed the possibilities of trying to get an <br />ADF located on Cox Field. It was brought to the attention <br />of the Board that with State funding, the project would <br />cost approximately $16,000.00, of which the City of Paris <br />would pay $3,000.00 and Mr. Sadler would pay $1,000.00. <br />It is to be recommended to the City Council that the City <br />of Paris, along with the State of Texas, enter into the <br />installation of an ADF for Cox Field. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Burress reported on Item #1, the Eagle Survey and stated <br />that the Airline Survey will be included in the ticket brochures <br />or boarding passes. <br />Item #2, the report on the Airport Promotion Plan was again <br />tabled until next meeting as the plans and specifications <br />were still not available. <br />Next on the Agenda was the discussion or findings of Mr. <br />Clifford as to the new access to the Airport. Mr. Clifford <br />reported that he had not yet had the opportunity to speak <br />with Mr. Tom Pine, Paris City Engineer, and would have to <br />table this until the next meeting. <br />Mr. Sadler then reported on Item #4, the new hanger <br />availability, stating that further inquiries were being <br />made and he would advise the Board on this item at the next <br />Board Meeting. <br />
