MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />octa�I QCA-6 tu1 10, 1q 8q <br />5:oo O'CLOCK, P.M. <br />COX FIELD TERMINAL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board of the City of Paris met at the Cox Field Terminal <br />Building on Wednesday, June 20, 1984, at 6:00 P.M. for the monthly business <br />meeting. <br />The following members were present: Richard Rex, Chairman; Joe Burress; <br />Bill Boothe; and Kristina V. Campbell, Secretary. <br />Also present were B. H. White, Pat White, Rick Simmons, Sonja Boothe, Austin <br />Ellis, Billie Wrenn, James M. Wrenn, Jr., Aaron G. Hiller. <br />1. Approve minutes - Stand approved as read. <br />2. Call for items for next agenda - Mr. Burress asked that items placed on the <br />agenda be placed by vote of the Board. He wishes this matter to be discussed <br />under NEW BUSINESS at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Rex asked if any provision existed for a group to vote on what is placed <br />on the agenda. <br />3. No financial reports. <br />4. Actions of City Council - At the City Council meeting, the Council accepted <br />the Board's recommendation on wording of Lease Agreement and the Agricultural <br />Operation Rules. <br />Council also heard a presentation by Roger Boxwell and Roger Sadler. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. Airport Promotion Plans - Mr. Rex and Mr. Boothe were out of town and <br />have done no work on the matter. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. New Permits - No new Permits. <br />2. Chemical Storage at Cox Field - Mrs. Campbell asked about the F.A.A. <br />Airport Inspection Report concerned with chemical storage at Cox Field. <br />Mr. Collier stated the boss of the inspector who wrote the letter stated the <br />complaint was given by a man who was looking into things he should not. <br />Mr. Rex suggested Mr. Collier call the F.A.A. and ask for a written clarifi- <br />cation of the matter. <br />Mr. James M. Wrenn, Jr., stated there is no chemical storage at Cox Field, <br />for each job the material is custom ordered. The waste is sprayed on the <br />fields. <br />
