MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 1984 <br />5:00 P.M. - COX FIELD TERMINAL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board of the City of Paris met at the Cox Field <br />Terminal Building on Tuesday, October 30, 1984 for the monthly business <br />meeting. <br />The following members were present: Richard Rex, Chairman, Joe Burress, Bill <br />Boothe, Dr. Edward Keller,and Kristina Campbell, Secretary. <br />Also present were: Jim Collier, Airport Manager, Austin Ellis, Jim Wrenn and <br />Byan Haygood an Eagle Air pilot. <br />1. Approve minutes - approved as read. <br />2. Call for items for next agenda: Mr. Rex placed the following items on the <br />next agenda: (a) Annual review of permits; (b) Review of the Fiscal 1984 -85 <br />budget for the Airport. <br />Mrs. Campbell asked the Board to also place the following on the agenda: (a) <br />Review of Hangar Lease Agreement, (b) Review of the fuel, oil, gas and auto <br />gas bid procedures for Cox Field. <br />3. Financial Report: Mr. Collier noted that under the heading MAINTENANCE - <br />EQUIPMENT on the Budget Report - Machinery and Tools, Etc. was 230% of <br />the amount budgeted because a pump on the fuel truck and a pump on the <br />fire truck were replaced. <br />4. Actions of City Council - None. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. Airport Promotion Plans: Mr. Boothe made the motion that the plans for <br />a study of airport promotion at Cox Field be passed to the Chamber of <br />Commerce. Dr. Keller seconded the motion. Motion passed 5 -0. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. New Permits - There were no new permits. <br />Bryan Haygood, a pilot for Eagle Airlines introduced himself to the Board <br />Members. <br />The meeting adjourned and the next meeting will be held on November 27, 1984 <br />at the Cox Field Terminal at 6:00 P.M. <br />
