Booth, Lot 2, City Block 60 -B <br />There were no comments from the audience concerning this property. <br />Mary Crumpler made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Chad Brown seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />I. 335 E. Booth, Lot 8, City Block 60 -A <br />Ms. Lucille Johnson and her daughter Loretta Johnson were at the meeting <br />to speak to the Commission about this property. They stated that while <br />they were in agreement that the structure needs to be demolished; they <br />could not afford to have the work done. They questioned the Commission <br />about the financial impact of the Commission's order. John Lestock <br />addressed the lien process and what their financial responsibilities would <br />be. <br />Brad Archer made a motion that the building be demolished by the City <br />without any civil penalties. Ryan Lassiter seconded the motion. The <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />J. 425 5th Street N.E., Lot 19, City Block 60 <br />There were no comments from the audience concerning this property. <br />Lucius Joe, Jr made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Harrell Tippitt seconded the motion.
