Grove; Lot 3 -A, City Block 175 -A - Motion was made by Steven Brown, <br />seconded by Mary Crumpler, to allow 30 days to demolish. If the property is not <br />demolished within 30 days, the City may demolish, with a $1000 per day civil <br />penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br />N. 92513th Street N.E.; Lots 2 and 3, Block 7, Belmont Addition - Motion was made <br />by Zach Saffle, seconded by Chris Brown, to allow 30 days to demolish. If the <br />property is not demolished within 30 days, the City may demolish, with a $1000 per <br />day civil penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br />O. 7th Street N.W. and Henderson; Lot 1, City Block 98 (Casa Bonita Apartments) <br />- Lisa Wright advised the Commission that she had been in touch with two <br />contractors for quotes to demolish these buildings. Because asbestos is present, it <br />will require the services of a specialized demolition company to do the work. She <br />stated that she was still waiting on the quotes, but she expects the cost to be quite <br />high. Although these buildings are owned by the taxing entities, the contractors had <br />recommended that the buildings be taken through the entire legal process in the event <br />HUD questions why the City is demolishing them since HUD helped build them. <br />Motion was made by David Nabors, seconded by Mary Crumpler, to allow 90 days <br />to demolish. If the property is not demolished within 90 days, the City may <br />demolish, with a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br />P. 1644 Pine Bluff; Lot 20, Block 2, Pine Bluff Addition - Motion was made by <br />David Nabors, seconded by Steven Brown, to allow 30 days to demolish. If the <br />property in not demolished within 30 days, the City may demolish, with a $1000 per <br />day civil penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Q. 506 E. Price; Lot 1, City Block 28 - No action taken. Ownership changed. <br />R. 1090 22nd Street N.E.; Lot 14, Block 8, Hillcrest Addition - Motion was made by <br />David Nabors, seconded by Vicki Ballard, to allow 90 days to repair or demolish. <br />If the property is not repaired within the 90 days, the City may demolish, with a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br />S. 107 Grand Avenue; Lot 2, City Block 5 (for repair only) - David Nabors stated <br />the owner may have passed away recently and recommended checking The Paris <br />News archives or Cooper Review within the last six weeks. Motion was made by <br />Chad Brown, seconded by David Nabors, to allow 30 days to repair. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />4. Status report related to properties on which the Commission has previously issued <br />orders. Lisa Wright distributed a handout. <br />5.
