Mr. Smith <br />stated he represents liaresh Patel the owner of Paris Inn and Suites Motel. Mr, <br />Smith stated Mr. Patel purchased the property at 3075 NE Loop 28,6 with a. sign <br />easement with the property owners of 3055, NE Loop 286 to construct pole sign or <br />monument sign near NE loop 286. Mr. Patel was not aware the City of Paris Sign <br />Ordinance would not honor this sign easement between the two property owners. <br />Mr. Smith stated they are requesting for the board of adjustments to approve the <br />off-site signage to install a pole sign for better visibility for Paris Inn and Suites <br />Motel. <br />Chad Stephens, 1305 Lamar Avenue Suite B, Paris, Texas, spoke in favor of the <br />petition. Mr. Stephens stated that Mr. Patel has had several setbacks during his <br />development in regards to gas lines, drainage issues, and plan reviews. Mr. <br />Stephens stated he hopes the board will approve this sign variance due to visibility <br />issues. <br />B.
