Environmental standards pursuant to the following: <br />(1) Institutipn of environmental quality control measures under the National Environmental Policy Act <br />of 1969,42 USC 994321-4347 and Executive Order 11514, "Protection and Enhancement of <br />Environmental Quality." <br />(2) Notification of violating facilities pursuant to Executive Order 11738, "Providing for <br />Administration of the Clean Air Act and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act with Respect to <br />Federal Contracts, Grants, or Loans." <br />(3) Protection of wetlands pursuant to Executive Order 11990, <br />(4) Evaluation of flood hazards in floodplains in accordance with Executive Order 11988. <br />(5) Assurance of project consistency with the approved State Management program developed under <br />the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, 16 USC 991451 et seq., as amended. " <br />(6) Conformity offederal actions to state clean air implementation plans under the Clean Air Act of <br />1955, as amended, 42 USC 997401 et seq. <br />(7) Protection of underground sources of drinking water under the Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974, <br />42 USC 99300f-300j, as amended, <br />(8) Protection of endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973,16 USC 91531 et <br />seq., as amended. <br /> <br />K. The Hatch Political Activity Act, 5 USC 997321-26, which limits the political activity of employees <br />whose principal employment activities are funded in whole or in part with federal funds. <br /> <br />L. The Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and the Intergovernmental Personnel Act of 1970, as applicable, <br />concerning minimum wage and maximum hours, <br /> <br />M. General Appropriations Act, Regular Session, 76th Legislature, 1999, Article 99-6.13, pp.IX-39&40, <br />"Limitation on Grants to Units of Local Government." For the purpose of 99-6.13, "unit of local <br />government" shall mean a council of governments, a regional planning commission, or a similar regional <br />planning agency created under Chapter 391, Local Government Code; a Local Workforce Development <br />Board; or an MHMR community center. <br /> <br />N.
