Mr. Paris responded that if there was, it would only be for the Wi-Fi. Mr. Manning made a motion to have Mr. Paris purchase a new tablet. Mr. Hamill seconded the motion. Vote was 5 -ayes to 0 -nays. Update on the American SpiralWeld Proiect. Mr. Paris updated the Board and the public that the Texas Enterprise Fund application will be submitted this week. American SpiralWeld submits the application and the City reviews and signs the application. Texas Representative VanDeaver and Texas Senator Hughes have been made aware of the project. They will let the Governor's Office know that is being submitted. The Texas Enterprise Fund is a deal closing fund that is reviewed by the Governor, Lt. Governor, and Speaker of the House. All three need to unanimously agree to support the use of the Texas Enterprise Fund for each specific project. It will take four to six weeks for the Governor's Office to get back with us on this $60,000,000 project including approximately 120 jobs. Mr. Banks asked how American SpiralWeld came to Paris. Mr. Paris stated that American SpiralWeld came to us through Kiamichi Railroad (Genesse Wyoming) out of Florida. Genesse Wyoming has a direct relationship with those handling the rail at American SprialWeld. Kiamichi called us stating that they wanted to entertain Paris, Texas for the project. We immediately completed the RFI the company sent us. Four weeks later we received the same RFI through the Governor's Office. We had a Welcome Team made up of infrastructure professionals for a working meeting with American SpiralWeld. That evening we invited them along with dignitaries from the community for an introduction dinner. We are very appreciative and thank Kiamichi and Genesse Wyoming Railroads for giving Paris the opportunity to showcase our city. Executive Director's Monthly Report. Mr. Paris stated that there was no monthly report for December. Discuss Future Agenda Items. Mr. Manning said that after coming out of the election we should look at some type of report card for the PEDC. This would be for the public to view and show the economic impact of bringing in businesses and jobs to Paris. Mr. Paris agreed and said that we would have some information and bids ready by the next meeting. Adiourn Mr. Banks made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Hughes seconded the motion.
