She stated that <br />Williamsburg Shopping Center sits on the site where an old historic home <br />was once located, but it was torn down in the name of progress. <br />Clifton Fendley spoke in favor of the designation, stating he would not have <br />purchased his house if not for the possibility that the area would be <br />preserved. <br />Hunter Moore spoke in favor of the designation. <br />Matt Frierson spoke in favor of the designation, stating the he and others like <br />him are the future, and they should help preserve the historic areas. <br />Bill and Jean Canida poke i n of the designation. <br />Louise Hagood spoke in favor of the designation, stating she would like the <br />Commission to establish a district on Pine Bluff where she lives. <br />Bill Bone spoke in opposition of the designation. <br />Suzy Harper spoke in favor of the designation. <br />Pike Burkhart, Sr. spoke in favor of the designation. <br />Bill Hindman spoke in opposition of the designation, stating it was selective <br />discrimination. <br />
