<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-101 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PLANNING AND <br />ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE THE <br />UNEXPIRED TERM OF CLEVELAND THOMAS, WIDCH ENDS JUNE 30, <br />2006; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission due to the resignation of Cleveland Thomas, and it is necessary to appoint his <br />successor; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br />Richard Hunt to serve the unexpired term of Cleveland Thomas, which ends June 30, 2006; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Richard Hunt be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term <br />of Cleveland Thomas, which ends June 30, 2006, as a member of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
