WHEREAS, the City Mana er has pres nted to the City Council propos s for!disannexation of property currently located within the City Limi s of the City of Paris; and, I , WHEREAS, the City Coun il desires t initiate proceedings pursuant to Cha~ter 7 of the City Charter and Section 43.142 of the ocal Gov rnment Code to disannex two tr cts 9! land forming a portion of the current boundaries oft e city limi s of the City of Paris as otherwise descjibed herein; and, , WHEREAS, the City Counc I desires t for public hearings, and establish t e dates to NOW, THEREFORE, I provide for notice of public heari gs, ~~tablish the dates nstitute and complete said dis exa~ion proceedings; I ' , S,fARIS, TEXAS: BEITRESOLVEDBYTH CITYC UNCILOFTHECITYOFP Section 1. That the finding set out in the preamble to this resolution e heteby in all things approved. Section 2. That by adoptio disannex two tracts of land currentl City of Paris, said two tracts of Ian speCifically described in Exhibits 1 Section 3. That by or before June 24, 2 05, actual written notice of the C ty's jti1tent to disannex the aforesaid areas shall be given to ach prope owner in said area proposed for disarjnexation; to each public entity, including, but not limi ed to Lam County, the appropriate school distrjtt, as well as any and all other public entities which wi I have to sume responsibility for certain pu lic s~rvices following the aforesaid disannexation; and to ach railro d company, if any, that serves the munIcipality if part of the company's right-of-way is in th areas pro osed for disannexation. ! , Section 4.
