WHEREAS, numerous tracts of real property (the "Trustee Properties") were <br />previously bid off to the City of Paris as Trustee for itself, Lamar County, Pal -is ISD and Paris <br />Junior; and <br />WHEREAS, Texas Property Tax Code Section 34.05(i) provides that the Trustee <br />Properties, may be solid by private sale in lieu of a public sale under Texas Property Tax <br />Code Section 314,,05(c) & (d) with the approval of all taxing units entitled to receive <br />proceeds frorn the sale, being the City of Paris, Lamar County, Paris ISD and Paris Junior <br />College; and <br />WHEREAS, private offers to purchase several of the Trustee Properties have been <br />received by the City of Paris (the "Private Sale"), <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the City Council of Paris, <br />Texas, that: <br />Section 1. The following offers to purchase the following tracts of real property, <br />being the, highest bids received, are hereby accepted and the Private Sales are hereby <br />approved: <br />• LCADI #109616 - 'EAST PARK ADDITION, BLOICK A, LOT 12, 1775 10TI-I NE' to Zenia. <br />Gilmore for $500 <br />• LCAD #109168 - 'EAST PARK ADDITION, BLOCK A, LOT 14, 1785 10TH NEI to Zenia <br />Gilmore for $500 <br />• LCAD I #11014 - 'EAST PARK ADDITION, BLOCK B, LOT 18, 1650 NE 10TH' to Zenia <br />Gilmore for $1000 <br />• LCAD #15557 - 'CITY OF PARIS, BLOCK 101-B, LOT 3, 11TH NW CAUSE 71173' to <br />Hillsboro Inlet LLC, a Wyoming LLC for $9010 <br />• LCAD #1021561 - 'CITY OF PARIS, BLOCK 44-A, LOT 5-13' to Hillsboro Inlet LLC', a <br />Wyoming LLC for $850 <br />• LCAD #20592 - MESTSIDE ADDITION, BLOCK 12, LOT 3, 21..31 W CHERRY CAUSE <br />82314' to Joletta Sutton for $500 <br />Section 2. Subject to the Private Sales also being approved by Lamar County, Paris <br />ISD and Paris Junior College, and the receipt of the monies bid for the Trustee properties, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a tax deed conveying the Re -Sale Properties to <br />
