<br />IX. ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT <br /> <br />A. Agreements and Contracts <br /> <br />1. Should our local resources prove to be inadequate during an emergency, <br />requests will be made for assistance from other local jurisdictions, other <br />agencies, and industry in accordance with existing mutual-aid agreements and <br />contracts and those agreements and contracts concluded during the emergency. <br />Such assistance may include equipment, supplies, or personnel. All agreements <br />will be entered into by authorized officials and should be in writing whenever <br />possible. Agreements and contracts should identify the local officials authorized <br />to request assistance pursuant to those documents. <br /> <br />2. The agreements and contracts pertinent to emergency management that we are <br />a party to are summarized in Attachment 6. <br /> <br />B. Reports <br /> <br />1. Hazardous Materials Spill Reportinq. If we are responsible for a release of <br />hazardous materials of a type or quantity that must be reported to state and <br />federal agencies, the department or agency responsible for the spill shall make <br />the required report. See Annex Q, Hazardous Materials and Oil Spill Response, <br />for more information. If the party responsible for a reportable spill cannot be <br />located, the Incident Commander shall ensure that the required report(s) are <br />made. <br /> <br />2. Initial Emerqency Report. This short report should be prepared and transmitted <br />by the EOC when an on-going emergency incident appears likely to worsen and <br />we may need assistance from other local governments or the State. See Annex <br />N, Direction and Control for the format and instructions for this report. <br /> <br />3. Situation Report. A daily situation report should be prepared and distributed by <br />the EOC during major emergencies or disasters. See Annex N, Direction and <br />Control, for the format of and instructions for this report. <br /> <br />4. Other Reports. Several other reports covering specific functions are described in <br />the annexes to this plan. <br /> <br />C. Records <br /> <br />1.
