City of Par,is <br />The Traffic Comrnission met on Tuesday November 07, 2017 at 515 P,,M, in the <br />Municipal Courtroorn with the, following members present'', - <br />I . Wendell Moore <br />2. Sally Boswell <br />3Susan Hamby <br />4, Bill Sanders <br />The city staff was represented by Asst. Chief Randy Tuttle and City Engineer <br />Carla Easton, <br />Chairperson Susan Hamby called the meeting to order at 5:17pm.i A quorum was <br />-*,stablished with four memibers present. <br />Ms. Hamby then moved to item #2 regarding aippirovingi, minutes from the Octiob <br />03, 2017 meeting. Mr. Moore made a motion to approve miinutes and second <br />was made by Mis, Boswell. Motion carried 4-0, 1 <br />Ms. Hamby then moved' to, item #3 regarding discussion and possible action <br />concerning installation of stop signs at 18 th NE & Fairfax, Mr, Tuttle informed <br />members that a request was received by the Traffic Department from a ciftizen <br />requesting stop signs at the intersection. Mr, Tuttle advised that the intersection <br />currently has no traffic control] device and the intersection warrants stop signs. <br />After discussion Mr. Moore made a motion to requliest city council place stops <br />signs on 11 8lth NE to stop traffic on 18". The motion was second by Ms, Boswell <br />?,nd carried'4-0l. <br />Ms. Hamby then moved to item #4 regarding o:ld business, Mr. Sanders asked <br />about the changes on S, Collegiate discussed at October meeting, Msl, Easton <br />stated the restriping and signage had been scheduled, <br />Ms. Hamby moved to item #5 regarding request for future agenda items, There <br />were none, <br />4 <br />At 5:24prn Ms. Hamby moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Sanders made a <br />motion <br />..dwith a second from Mr. Moore, Motion carried 4-0. <br />Chairperson - <br />Date: f-."L'I 5 <br />
