<br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 -038 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has identified the need for additional <br />practice backstops for youth sports teams in the City of Paris; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to authorize the City Attorney to negotiate with <br />property owners for locations for said purpose that are determined to be appropriate by the <br />Director of Parks and Recreations; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />City Attorney of the City of Paris, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed <br />to negotiate, on behalf of the City of Paris, with property owners for the placement of casual <br />backstops to be used by youth sports teams for practices on locations that are determined to be <br />appropriate by the Director of Parks and Recreations. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of April, 199 <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ntr,-'~ t.~~~\N'\~~ <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk <br /> <br />
