Love Civic Center <br />Governing Board Minutes <br />Love Civic Center <br />Present: Curtis Fendley, Pam Anglin, Troy Scholl, Jimmie Hopson, have Cook, Linda Kapp, Casey Ressler, <br />Chip McEwin and Helen Ressler, <br />Staff: Gina Crawford', Randy Nation, Jon McFadden <br />Curtis Fendley called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />A motion to approve the January minutes was made by Linda Kapp, seconded by Helen Ressler. All <br />approved, <br />Linda Kapp gave an, overview of the February Financials, they were accepted into the minutes. <br />Curtis Fenid'ley stated that he and Josh Bray will go to the City Council and ask for the LCC/VCC Hotel <br />money to be split in half between the Love Civic Center and' Paris Visitors & Convention Council. Gina <br />Crawford will get this item added to VCC March 19th agenda and contact the City to get this item on the <br />City Council! Agenda. <br />Randy Nation stated that the leak in the south concession stand has been repaired and' the flooring is <br />being replaced. The sewer leak on south, side of building has been repaired'. Due to this leak several <br />bushes were destroyed so those bushes will' be replaced, Randy Nation will get a quote on pouring <br />concrete for the RV spaces on the west side of Civic Center. A motion to give Curtis Fendley final bid <br />approval was made by Helen Ressler, seconded by Pam Anglin, motion, passed unanimously, <br />Randy Nation stated that some of the bicycles on the bike kiosk need maintenance,. They wild do <br />maintenance on them a few at a time. <br />Jon McFadden gave an update on, contract revision, a motion to approve was made by Casey Ressler, <br />seconded by Helen Ressler, motion passed unanimouisly. The, new contract will go into effect by April <br />15, 2018. <br />Jon, McFadden then suggested that we revise some of the rental rates. Each 4 hour conference room <br />rental' will be 1=$125, 2=$150, 3=$175 4 th thru 6th rooms start over at 5125. Rental of parking lot for <br />$250 will be defined as north of the ATM for events not renting the buiil'ding OR for building rentals that <br />have vendors outside and need electrical connections. Green room, kitchen, .and concession stand <br />rentals will only be allowed in conjunction with other facility rentals. Stage prices will be adjusted to <br />16x24 - $50 and 24x24 - $75. Sound system with, up to two mics will rent for $50 with each additional <br />mics costing $20. Food fees for conference rooms will be $30 per room. A deposit of $200 (non - <br />alcohol) and $1000 (alcohol) will be mandatory regardless of area rented. A motion to approve these <br />rates was made by Pam, Anglin, seconded by Linda Kapp, motion passed uinanimouslly. <br />Meeting adjourned at 4.51 pm.= <br />Respectfully Submitted, 5i6a eM4"d <br />
